Now you install Cyanogen Mod 7.1 on your Xperia X10 and X8, it’s stable version and based on Android 2.3.7 and so many features, however it’s not official release. To install this first you need to unlock bootloader of device. Here’s a guide to install it on your device but first make a backup of device.

CM7.0.0 Mirror
Step #1: Flash new kernel (with builtin recovery) XXX_CUSTOM.ftf using flashtool
Step #2: on FXP Boot Logo press any key to enter Recovery
Step #3: flash FXP ROM
Step #4: flash Google Apps
Step #5: WIPE Device
